Product Overview

The IDEAL® Feed-Thru RJ-45 Modular Plugs and FT-45™ Crimping Tool are designed to simplify and improve the consistency of cable to connector termination of CAT5e and CAT6 modular plugs to twisted pair cables. Anyone who has assembled traditional standard or multi-piece modular plugs knows it is a time consuming and often error-prone process.

Main Features

  • Feed-Thru design simplifies twisted pair assembly process
  • Verify conductor order before crimping
  • Conductors tri mmed to the correct length by the tool - no measuring
  • Eliminates wasted connectors due to incorrect assembly
  • Single-piece design
  • Designed to work seamlessly with IDEAL FT-45™Modular Plug Crimp Tool. Also compatible for crimping (no cutting of conductors) in the IDEAL Telemaster™crimping tools
  • Three prong contact design for use with solid or stranded 23-24 AWG insulated copper conductors up to 0.041" in diameter
  • Accepts outer jacket cable diameters of up to .270"
  • Permanent connection - once crimped they cannot be reused
  • Primary and secondary strain relief supports to retain cable jacket and minimize conductor movement once crimped
