The 2GIG XCVR3-GC3 is a specialized plug-in transceiver module designed to enable advanced image sensor capabilities on 2GIG GC3, GC3e, and Edge security panels. It integrates a 900 MHz transceiver for dedicated, bi-directional communication with 2GIG IMAGE2 and IMAGE3 wireless image sensors, while also retaining a 345 MHz receiver to support all legacy 2GIG wireless sensors. This allows for features like live image capture and motion-triggered photo uploads when used with Alarm.com services. The XCVR3-GC3 installs by wiring onto the panel's main board, for a true plug-and-play upgrade. It requires panel firmware version 3.0.1 or newer and is UL listed, offering a seamless way for installers to add photo-verification features to compatible systems.
