AFL is Proud to participate in the NTIA’s Self Certification Process by providing a list of equipment compliant for use in the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program. These products have been verified to comply with the Buy America Preference (BABA) requirements or, at a minimum, meet the guidance as specified in the BABA Waiver for the BEAD Program (Limited General Applicability Nonavailability Waiver of the Buy America Domestic Content Procurement Preference as Applied to Recipients of Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program). Because the BABA Waiver for the BEAD Program completely waives the Buy America Preference for all passive optical equipment, you can find our passive optical equipment listed on a separate table at the bottom of this page. All optical fiber used to manufacture our fiber optic cable is compliant and manufactured in North Carolina.
